Oak Marsh

This Resort, who was rewarded by the ' AAA-Four
Diamond ', is situated at the northeast of Florida in a magnificent
natural environment in front of the Atlantic Ocean, at 45 minutes
by car from Jacksonville's downtown. Classified "Silver
Medal Golf Resort" by the Golf Magazine, Amelia Island
claims 54 international holes.
The Amelia Links, drawn by Pete Dye and Bobby Weed, possesses
a configuration of 36 holes including two signed golf courses:
Oak Marsh and Ocean Links.
Oak Marsh is considered for its narrow fairways
and its small greens, which twist along the seawater swamps
and the famous oaks covered with moss of the Amelia Island.

Ocean Links possesses 10 holes containing lagoons
and swamps, and good part of the plan which takes place in the
middle of dunes, at the sea border. Due to the beauty of its
environment, we can say that this golf course represents as
well a ballad in nature as a golf round.
Long Point |
The Long Point golf course, which is a creation
of Tom Fazio, is a 18 holes clearly conceived among swamps
and very high dunes of sand of the Atlantic Ocean. Long Point
is the first golf course of the members of the club.
The school of Amelia Island's golf directed by Ron Philos
' School of Golf, is situated on the prestigious Long Point
Golf Course. It possesses its own training center. The pro
shop offers at disposal the rent of material, special gifts,
accessories and golf clothes.

This hotel situated in front of the sea offers at disposal 249
luxurious rooms all possessing a private balcony with a magnificent

completely equipped, fitted out and maintained with care, every

Baymeadows
Golf Club
Created
by Desmond Muirhead, this semi-private traditional golf course
was redrawn in 1991 by Mark McCumber. Making a maximal length
of 6345 metres, it offers four different departures, in order
to allow players of any level to appreciate a pleasant and fair
game. The water comes into play on 10 holes. Important renovations
made in 1991 allowed to improve the game conditions and the
opportunities proposed by the clubhouse. The Baymeadows's goalis
to offer to players a quality golf course and a warm service,
at a moderate price. On the other hand it is necessary to know
that in the morning, only the members of the club can practise
the golf course.

Club at Julington Creek
Created
in 1992 by the architects Bob Walker and Steve Melnyk, this
golf course 18 holes seems outside time by its design. Indeed
it offers a very pleasant retreat in an environment drawn in
the signboard. The plan twists among majestic trees and twinkling
lakes, bringing numerous challenges for players of any levels.
It includes more than 40 bunkers, arranged throughout 18 holes.
Four different departures allow golfers to be able to play according
to their competence. The club offers at disposal a complete
set of training. A pro shop, wardrobes and showers, a restaurant
and a bar, lessons.

It
is considered as being a part of the best golf courses in Florida.
Possessing several interlaced lakes and a natural ability lived
by the wild fauna and flora, this golf course offers an exciting
round along numerous scenic sights. For this year, passages
for carriages were added and certain greens renewed. The golf
course, which is very well maintained, contains sculptured and
well-surrounded greens, spacious and wave-like fairways surrounded
by trees. It was classified n°44 over 100 golf courses in
Florida. In 2001, Cimarrone was attributed 4 stars by the Golf

by Clyde Johnston, this semi-private golf course figures among
the best golf courses in Jacksonville. Cleverly fitted out in
the heart of a forest of big pines, it is an exciting course,
rich in challenges and permanently maintained in excellent conditions.
It has multiple departures, greens of different sizes, wave-like
fairways and a big variety of bunkers of sand and herb. Besides
thet it is surrounded by numerous lakes, with its impressive
arrangement it became one of the most popular golf courses in
the region. The club offers a complete range of services.

Hidden Hills
Golf Course
Created
in 1966, this private golf course 18 holes par-72 was drawn
by Arnold Palmer. Situated in a magnificent environment decorated
with pines and oaks, the ground contains numerous changes of
rise, what is unusual in the north region of Florida. The golf
course asks for precision in the shots to get good scores. Water
traps come into play on 12 holes. The hole of signature is the
number 11, a par-5 of 559 metres which requires an approach
shot towards a green arranged in island. The club offers a complete
range of services to his members.

Hyde
Park Golf Club
Created
in 1925 by the Scottish architect Donald Ross, Hyde Park's golf
course is the oldest of Florida. The magnificent design makes
it one of the favourite golf courses for the golfers of the
region. Rippling hills, magnificent Spanish oaks and great pines
characteristical of the South, makes Hyde Park an unforgettable
golfic experience. Hyde Park was a stage of the Men's and Lady's
PGA Tour of the 40s and 50s. By welcoming several Opens, legendary
golfers such as Byron Nelson, Sam Snead, Ben Hogan, came to
play.
