Created
in 1968, this golf course 18 hole par-72 is situated at 15 minutes
southwest of the International Airport of Miami. Very well maintained,
it possesses narrow fairways which are flat and easy to cross
by foot. Greens are slightly tilted and firm, to maintain the
shot risks to be difficult sometimes. Furthermore, the water
comes into play in the form of canals and of lakes on 4 holes.
The club offers a complete range of services.
Initially
drawn by HCC Tippets and created in 1927, this private golf
course is situated on Bay Harbor Island. Considered as one of
the most exclusive clubs of the region, it welcomes members
such as Joe DiMaggio and Sylvester Stallone. The hole of signature
is n°13, a par-3 of 137 metres which possesses a fairway
lined with numerous trees and with bunkers completely surrounding
the green. It was redrawn in 1953 by Robert Trent Jones and
in 1995 by Jack Nicklaus. The club offers numerous services
to his members among which swimming pool, tennis.
Adjoining
to the Miami International Airport and thus easily accessible,
the golf course was drawn by Charles Mahannah and created in 1997.
Taking place on an approximately 54 hectare ground, it possesses
wave-like fairways, in the style of the golf courses of the North.
Considered as being a part of the best putting zones of the region,
greens are wide and wave-like. The course contains 97 bunkers,
4 out zones bunkers, a little more than 2 hectares of water and
fairways with hilly relief and bunkers of pure white sand. Offering

Ideally

ones. Some decades ago, the Club was one of the regular passages
of the Miami Beach Open. The golf course was modernized by Bruce
Devlin and Bob Von Hagge in 1972. During the very first round,

for the great hiters. But it is not necessary to worry about it
because numerous holes possess a sloping plan, what allows to
begin a good portion of the distance with a good shot. Greens

in the heart of Miami, this golf course drawn by Mark Mahannah
is considered as one of the best of the metropolitan zone. It

quality of service. The golf course welcomed numerous events LPGA
and PGA and saw disentangling legendary players such as Arnold
Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Nick Price and Greg Norman. The water is

Drawn
by Red Lawrence and created in 1944, this semi-private golf course
is situated at approximately 24 km at the North of Miami. It makes
a 5852 metre length, par-71 from the put off departures and 4937
metres par-72 from the forward ones. As fairways was established
on a wave-like ground, it possesses high departures and high greens.
Water traps come into play on 5 holes. The club offers a complete
range of services among which golf lessons with the professional
instructor David Gall.
This
public golf course 18 holes was created in 1916 and drawn by William
S . Flynn & Howard C. Toomey. It possesses several fairways
with dogleg and water traps which come into play on 14 holes.
It is a golf course which presents a real advantage. Indeed, numerous
water traps are hidden and we realize their presence only when
we are on them. In the 50s it was redrawn by Mark Mahannah. The
practice of the golf course by foot is restricted during the week,
afternoons and weekends. 
Drawn
by Warren Henderson, the golf course of this semi-private club
was created in 2000. It possesses the traditional values of the
architecture of a golf course, including the development of the
shooting and a varied arrangement. Twisting on the domain of a
residential community of 800 houses, Saint James offers to golfers
four different departures in agreement with their possibilities
of game and a set of challenges situated in a magnificent natural
context. The golf course possesses 64 impressive bunkers and 17
water traps ready to challenge players during their round. The
Club offers at disposal training opportunities, a clubhouse which
was renewed in 2000 with a pro shop and a grill restaurant.
