Situated
near the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, it possesses
two golf courses 18 holes opened to the public since 1980 and
which were fitted out in order to be able to welcome more than
500 golf tournaments a year. The West couse contains big trees
and fairways which are closed on the front and opened behind.
The airport being rather close, the presence of planes creates
unusual game conditions on both courses. The club offers at disposal
two magnificent opened pavilions, two driving ranges, two putting
greens, golf lessons. It proposes special tournaments packages.
The
course is situated on a hilly ground, surrounded by a great environment.
It contains big trees, natural brooks, lakes and swampy zones.
Rather than to distort the landscape to build the course, the
architect Jay Morrish & Associates preferred to draw every
hole by taking advantage of the topography of the natural ground.
Whatever is the departure which we take, the course requires as
much precision as power. The club house offer in an atmosphere
of elegance a set of quality services, of which a 4 star restaurant,
a pro shop, a completely equipped lecture hall. The training centre
is one of the biggest of the region. A golf school, the Performax
Golf Academy, proposes very complete golf lessons to all players.
It
is the first golf club of a resort style proposing a daily rate
in all Texas. Drawn by Jeff Brauer, this first class course impresses
due to its majestic beauty and its ingenious design. It is situated
on an approximately 64 hectare ground, in the heart of a natural
beauty to cut your breath off, with changes of rise, forests,
water plans and the wild life which animates it. Measuring all
together 6416 metres, the course contains numerous challenges
and a big variety at the level of its environment thanks to the
design conceived with imagination. Five different departures makes
however the course accessible to the any level players. In a warm
atmosphere, the club house proposes a 4 stars restaurant which
serves a remarkable food, facilities for training and golf lessons.
The
resort is nested in the heart of the Texas hills, on an approximately
161 hectare domain. Ideally situated near numerous attractions,
it appears year after year on the list of the best golf resorts
