CANADA - Niagara
This
golf course 18 holes half-private is situated in the heart of
the region of Niagara. Drawn by Graham Cooke & Associates,
it possesses the style of a modern Links, with rippling hills,
bunkers of white sand, fairways and green greens decorated by
places with high grass. It was moreover named "The Ultimate
British Open Fantasy". In 2002, Toronto Star Newspaper
classified Hunters Pointe 9th public course of Ontario and first
public golf course of the region. The club offers at disposal
its restaurant, its pro shop and proposes to organize events
by groups (starting at 12 persons).
Opened
in 2002, this impressive golf complex is situated on a spectacular
domain of 280 hectares which takes place at the edge of the
famous Niagara river. Possessing in all 45 golf holes, this
club carries well its name of "Legends". The architect
Doug Carrick and Thomas McBroom knew how to take advantage of
the beauty and the natural ability of the ground to create golf
courses highly playable and rich in challenges. 
The
North course was usually named Battlefield,
contains approximately 7 hectares of artificial lake which comes
into play on more than 4 holes. From the 13th hole it offers
a spectacular sight on the waterfalls. Carrying the name of
a legendary battle which took place near in 1812, it will bring
to the any level players the pleasure to play and to meet its
challenges in a magnificent context.
The
compact 9 holes, Chippawa, famous due to its
name the village in which the complex is situated and commemorates
the rich history of the region and the people who lived there.
The collaboration of McBroom and Carrick in its unique design
makes this course to be one of the best compacts in Canada.
With
its natural wooded environment, the practice putting
offers the opportunity to the experimented players as novice
ones to test their skills in putting.
Situated
in the heart of the Niagara's peninsula, this half-private course
is the creation of the architect Rene Muylaert. It is difficult
to imagine that before the site was occupied only by some sand
and stones, when we actually see this magnificent golf course
which it became. Fairways and greens are strikingly maintained
and offer a magnificent contrast with numerous sand traps and
sparkling lakes which threaten to hold any misled ball. Peninsula
Lakes was classified 4 stars in the guide " places to play
" from Golf Digest. Being at only 20 minutes from the Niagara
Falls, it is an inescapable stage during a golf stay in the
region. It possesses facilities classified among the best of
the region by Score Golf Magazine. The club proposes the organization
of events such as receptions, banquets, meetings. 
Nested
between Rockway Conservation and the Niagara's falls, Rockway
Glen is at the same moment a golfic and wine surprise. Indeed,
the property possesses a golf course as well as a young vineyard.
The international course 18 holes, which is strikingly maintained,
is in a Links style. It contains green fairways and sculptured
greens, highlighted by the presence of more than 60 bunkers
of white sand and water traps. The water moreover comes into
play on 10 holes. The club offers at disposal a pro shop and
a club house being able to welcome up to 200 persons, equipped
with an internal patio and with a terrace which looks onto the
course. 
The
club contains three recent golf courses 9 holes: Escarpment,
Iron Bridge and the Old Canal,
built in the highest international golf standards. Fairways
are really sculptured, bunkers immense and greens rippling.
The water comes into play, in particular on the third course.
The design, unique, includes tees strategically placed at the
edge of the Welland canal. Every course, unique, possess its
own variety and its challenges. The club offers a set of complete
services such as a golf school. It can welcome up to 200 persons
during events such as marriages, receptions… Royal Niagara
was classified "Best New Course" and "Most Scenic
Course" in 2001 by Toronto Star.
Drawn
by the legendary architect Stanley Thompson, the golf course
is situated in a spectacular natural environment, near the Niagara's
waterfalls. It belongs to the Niagara's Park Committee which
manages it since 1951. Whirlpool is classified among the Top
100 golf courses of Canada. Its facilities, also rewarded, are
classified 4 stars by Golf Digest. The club indeed proposes

lessons.
