Belmont Hills Golf Course
In
1907, the Manor house of Belmont and its golf Club were created.
The golf was introduced in the 1915's. In July, 2001, a local
company bought the property and the golf course was closed in
January, 2002 for the biggest project of extension of golf course
that the island never saw. There where formerly was a relatively
flat golf course, a new landscape was born, completely different,
with deep outlines. The golf course was renamed Belmont Hills
(the Hills of Belmont), in honor in its new topography. A system
of automatic irrigation was set up, hundreds of trees were planted
or replaced to increase the security and the plan of fairways.
The golf course offers magnificent points of view on the waters
of Granaway Deep.
