Lemuria
Resort Golf Course
Designed by Rodney WRIGHT (in
charge for the famous Mana Lani course in Hawaii) and co-designed
by French champion Marc Farry, this international course 18 holes
opened in October, 2000. Between paradise and earth, following
the magnificent beaches of the Kerlan creeks ... The first 12
holes are lined with palm trees, filtering the light at intervals. From the 13th hole, the course goes over the
stiff hillsides of a hill covered with plentiful forests, offering
a sight to cut your breath, and it is here where the game becomes
spectacular and provocating.
The signature is in hole N.15, where the player is on a rocky
fish bone which gives onto the crystal clear sea and the white
beaches of Anse Georgette. A freat selection of the club and good
hability are indispensable to go to the following green, 50 metres
lower in the valley. The final descent in the 18th is one by-5,
along albizias and artificial lakes. A long shot tee, only, will
allow you to reach this green in two knocks.
The Hotel:
This hotel, the first one of his kind, benefits
fron an idyllic situation on the northwest coast of the island.
Surrounded by a luxuriant vegetation and by a lagoon, it shelters
dominant winds. The only use of natural materials as wood and
stone creates a harmony between the architecture of the hotel
and the natural frame. With the presence of 3 private white sand
beaches, the place releases an atmosphere of total tranquillity
and luxury. The swimming pool possesses three levels, where the
water pours from a building down to the sea.

Lemurie is the old civilization of the time of Atlantide. Concretely,
we think that it would have existed in the South Pacific, between
North America, Asia, and Australia. Lemurie is sometimes associated
to Mu, or the Mother of Earth. At the top of their civilization,
lemurs had become evolved and very spiritual people. Whereas the
concrete proof of this old continent is difficult to find, a lot
of people "feel" that they have a strong connection
with Lemurie.
