Costa Blanca
Drawn by Roland Favrat and opened
in 1999, the Alenda golf is very close from the Sierra de
las Aguilas mountains and from the sea. It is an 18 hole
course that proposes too difficult and varied round. It
offers a perfect training for any level players who will
need to use all their clubs. The round is rather fast, as
holes are closer and the space between greens rather short.
The first 9 holes are averagely long and they favor precision
on the striking. Holes are easy to play and fairways are
very wide, what helps tee shots. The last 9 holes ask for
more concentration because it is the round part where the
precision is more important than distance.
Designed by Steve Ballesteros
and opened in 1998, the 18 hole course of Alicante is a
city course, situated near the beach and at 10 minutes by
car from the city. It has the reputation to address rather
to good players, because of the presence of numerous bunkers
and water obstacles. Fairways are wide, the sufficient true
greens and with strategically placed bunkers.
Built on an old domain of the
region and surrounded by a magnificent campaign remained wild,
the Real Club course was appointed to take advantage of the unusual
ground of the site. 
The construction of a second 18 hole course
similar to the first one is in project, as well as the construction
of a hotel and afterward of a new club house. Already proposing
numerous services, the club is to become a real golfique complex.
Surrounded by pines and by olive
trees, Don Cayo Golf Course is one very well maintained and perfectly
integrated in the mountain range of the Sierra of Bernia. Its
ideal situation has numerous qualities: a panoramic sight on the
Mediterranean Sea in the South, on the Sierra of Bernia in the
North, and the nearness of the coas and Altea beach who are at
2 kms only. The course is for any level golfers because difficult
holes as 5th and 6th are combined with easier ones. It is the
great course that you have to discover if you spend time in the
region.
The Finca Golf is in an environment
of a big beauty, with magnificent points of view. It is completely
advisable to persons who wish to play golf in the middle of nowhere,
while taking advantage of beaches, of sail clubs, and numerous
activities and services near.
Drawn by Javier Arana and opened
in 1974, the Ifach course offers a magnificent sight on the sea.
It proposes a round of 9 holes. Although it is relatively short,
the ground and the arrangement of fairways make the course rather
difficult and technical. However, two rounds can be easily chained
and players can appreciate the game while admiring the magnificent
points of view. The trees and bunkers position make some holes
difficult and introduces some variety into the way of approaching
holes. The course was conceived in a way that all clubs are used
and that the game is made with a control big. Nevertheless, the
round is neither too difficult for beginners, nor too much tiring
for tourists who come to play in summer.
A golf is useful and even necessary
in a place where golfers can come and appreciate the environment
beauty. Javea Club was conceived in this perspective. Drawn by
Francisco Moreno and opened in 1981, it contains two 9 holes,
a good practice, a driving range, 2 tennis courts and a wide swimming
pool for the youngest. The disposition of the ground allowed to
develop big opened fairways. On the other hand greens remain well
kept by bunkers.
the Resort offers three of the
most famous spanish courses. It welcomed 5 Spanish Opens and of
numerous national golfiques events. It also proposes numerous
activities: tennis, swimming pool, dive, horse ridding, and other
accessible sports all year round thanks to the Mediterranean climate.
Except courses, the Resort proposes training opportunities such
as: driving range enlightened at night with 80 practice grounds,
2 chipping greens, a bunker practice, a wide green practice. 
Although it is really smaller
than the South one, the North Course has its supporters. We cannot
compare the three courses, but simply advance the variety which
they offer, allowing players to spend from to another according
to their game. The course offers a big variety in the length holes,
but with little intuition, we can by-pass the traps. Greens are
not enormous nor very well defended, what allows little experimented
players to have less pressure. The landscape is pleasant, but
the course can difficulty be recommended in the middle of summer.
The south course is the longest
and the certainly the most opened, even if you need several rounds
to understand the most subtle aspect. Arnold Palmer made some
visual changes well welcome at the level of the original arrangement,
underlining the American style design. But the modifications of
the architect did not manage to hide the fact that bunkers and
greens would have been better redrawn. The course contains some
water obstacles, in particular on holes 17 and 18. We can say
that its length makes a good test. 
The opening of a third 18 hole
course was waited for a long time. It is in fact about the extension
of a 9 hole already existing built in 1970, refreshed and completed
by David Thomas. If you know its San Roque course, you will recognize
here several visual aspects, notably in the shape of bunkers.
However the course in general is not of the same class. There
was less space to play, also the architect preferred to create
a rather short course, but nevertheless very technical. The last
9 holes are a little more more brought up than the rest of the
course, but the walking is far from being hard. Trees as well
as three lakes were clearly brought to the game. If the course
is a little bit difficult for beginners, it)is fun for good players.
The 5 star Resort Hotel offers
at disposal 192 rooms and luxury suites. Rooms are in generous
dimensions and decorated tastefully with colours of the South,
with marble bathroom. Each open on a balcony or brings down to
a magnificent sight on the golf or on the hotel swimming pool
and possesses air conditioning, direct telephone, satellite TV,
films or video game on inquiry, mini-bar, vault.
