The
Porcelaine is spread over splendid undulating land nature has
blessed with trees and water. The course, designed by Jean Garaïalde,
is a very lively one with many water hazards, trees, bunkers and
so on.
At
the foot of the Puy de Dôme, the Volcans has two courses:
an 18-hole for all golfers, in the midst of broom, heather and
the splendid scenery of the Auvergne, and a 9-hole for a top-quality
game.
Drawn
by Jeremy Pern, the golf course 18 holes of Brive was created
in 1994. In the crossroads of three regions, Limousin, Périgord
and Quercy, it is situated in the middle of a classified valley,
not far from the lake of Causse, on a 54 hectare ground. Slightly
hilly, raised by the old trees, the course is crossed by the meanders
of the brook of Planchetorte. The clubhouse, which is permanently
opened, offers at disposal in a very friendly atmosphere its bar
and its terrace with sight on greens.
Situated
in the heart of a 175 hectare park, the 18 hole golf course of
Coiroux evolves between numerous tree varieties: sweet chestnut
trees, beeches, birches, larches, in the middle of a harmonious
and authentic nature, strikingly protected. If the 18 hole Par-70
addresses rather the confirmed players, on the other hand the
novice players can take advantage of the compact 9 holes situated
in border of a 23 hectare lake. The reception is a wooden chalet
which welcomes the guests in a friendly atmosphere. The restaurant,
fitted out in an old barn, offers ay disposal the time of a meal
its magnificent terrace which dominates the putting green.
A
Hotel and a restoration set surrounded by a big park raised by
18 hectares, situated in the heart of a magnificent 40 hectare
property, at 10 minutes from Brive. The Castle, which dates XIIIth
and XVth centuries, is perched on a rocky hook. It is accompanied
with the Orangery built in the XVIIIth century, the Cottage and
the room Biscaye, near the swimming pool. The Castle offers at
disposal 27 rooms and luxurious suites, very comfortable and each
decorated in a personalized style.
