Beaufort Golf Course Killarney
The domain was bought in 1860

the main house was built. The course main entrance is lined with
200-year-old trees. As for pineapples who surround the door pillars,
they are a traditional symbol of hospitality.

The Killarney Golf & Fishing
Club
Of the three golf courses of the region,
Killen is certainly one of the biggest. At 6474 metres, it challenges
the longest shots; and with water plans placed near almost every
hole, the precision is essential. On this course was played the
Carroll's Irish Open in 1991 and 1992. It turned out to be an
austere test for pros because only 3 players were able to finish
the game under the par. Killarney also welcomed the Curtis Cup
in 1996, when Great Britain and Ireland beat the USA.

Mahony’s Course
In Killarney, golf is practised since 1891, initially
on a 9 hole course. In 1939 it was widened to 18 holes. The development
of the course brought it until the limit of the lake and added
an exceptional beauty.

Lackabane Course
Last addition to the Club, the Lackabane course which is still
young turns out to be a challenge. At 6410 metres, it contains
the standards of the international courses.
The Killen House
The Killen house, surrounded
with magnificent gardens, is at less than 10 minutes by car from
Killarney. Since queen Victoria came in the last century for a
holiday stay, this place became a place of legend.
The house was built in 1838, in the "Edwardian" style.
Before finding its place as a charm hotel, it had numerous functions:
farm, · Dower House ·, · Folk's Old Home
· and even a maternity · At the moment it belongs
to Michael and Geraldine Rosney.
The hotel has 23 rooms, equipped with bathtub and shower, radio,
TV, telephone, · 8 spacious and luxurious rooms were added
some years previously, modestly named ' Championship ' Rooms.
At Killarney we can find the Rozzers restaurant which is not to
miss. The Chef and his team built themselves a robust reputation
for the freshness of their products and the always constant quality
of their cuisine.

Ballybunion Golf Club
The Old Course
Situated on the Shannon estuary, Old Course,
which was created by Tom Watson, is a real link at the sea border,
without trees with a cutting outline. We have the impression that
it did not undergo the man influence and due to the wild aspect
of the ground, it seems to go out quite straight ahead from the
10th century. After having played on the course for the first
time, we have the feeling that the origin of golf was born here.
It is the fairways outlines and greens which makes this course
a great course. Hills create a changeable relief which makes the
game difficult and asks for a good shot precision.
This course tests your patience. It asks for simply a good game
and for good knocks.
Cashen Course
Conceived by Robert Trent Jones. The disposition of the ground,
very damaged and varied, made it difficult at the beginning the
idea to conceive a golf course. And nevertheless it was created.
Each of the spectacular 18 holes possesses its unique character
and its own challenge, and none give evidence of weakness or ease.
The clubhouse: recently built, he can welcome up to 120 persons
for dinner. It possesses several lounges to relax and two bars.
At disposal: Driving Range, Sand Bunker, Practice: Chipping Green
and Putting Greens.
Greens fees:
Old Course: 110 € per round
Cashen Course: 75 € per round

Waterville Golf Club
The history of the Waterville Golf dates 1889, when the
team of the Transatlantic Cable played golf. The fortune of the

date in which John A. Mulcahy and Eddie Hackett came with a new
design. This design, always current, made the success of the Waterville
Golf Club.
The first 9 holes start slowly before reaching the widest dunes
along the coast. Famous guests came to Waterville, of whom Raymond
Floyd who said: " this is one of the most beautiful places
