Mount Joliet Golf Course
Created in 1991 by Christy O'
Connor Snr and Jack Nicklaus, the magnificent and difficult course
of Mount Juliet became as one of the first destinations for the
Top Professionals and amateur golfers of the whole world. Having
welcomed recently the World Golf Championship, it also welcomed
in 2002 the American Express Championship and Irish Opens of 1993-95.
It possesses wave-like fairways, a lot of water traps and skilfully
popular greens, magnificently anchored on the spectacular terroir
of this old Irish state.

Mount Juliet House:

Royal County Down golf club
It is one of the most former
golf clubs of Ireland, with its hundred of years traditions. Situated
in Newcastle, Royal County Down is not only a good golf test,
but also a course which possesses an exceptional setting. Along
Links International, County Down possesses a second course, Annesley
Links. Possessing an impressive arrangement, he can turn out to
be so intimidating as an international links. Nevertheless it
is not its intention, it is indeed the course for everybody.

Lahinch Golf Club
" St Andrews Golf in Ireland
". The course of Lahinch was often compared with the St Andrews
in the Scotland. It has effectively an enviable reputation, in
a country which contains many quality courses. Situated on the
magnificent Atlantic coast of County Clare, formed from the natural
ability of the ground which is essentially made by dunes, Lahinch
Golf Club offers a unique golfique experience.
It consists of two links: Old Course and Castle Course, who each
answers what experimented players can expect from it.
This ideal golf site was discovered in 1892 by Alexander Shaw
and Richard Plummer, two eminent business men from Limerick and
well known representatives of the Limerick Golf Club. They were
helped by the officers Black Watch Regiment, who were then in
Limerick, to set up the 8 hole course on one side and on the other
side the 10 hole one. The first game was played on April 15th,
1892.
In 1927, the design was reviewed by Alister McKenzie to transfer
all the holes towards the dunes. A second 18 hole course was then
create on the other side, it explains the name of "Castle
Course".
