Santo da Serra Golf

Built in 1931 and redrawed in 1991 by Robert Trent Jones, the Santo da Serra golf goes onto the Machico bay, where the Portuguese navigators off-loaded for the first time on the island. By redrawing the course, the architect has created 27 completely new and spectacular holes, on one of the most beautiful landscapes which nature can offer. Competition and pleasure are for the meetings to Santo da Serra for the passionate persons. 2nd and 4th holes remain in the memory unforgettable for those who came to play. Machico and Desertas are courses usually played during the Madeira Island Open.

Palheiro Golf

The Palheiro course was drawn by Cabell Robinson and opened in 1993. Placed at the South of the Quinta doh Palheiro park 10 km from Funchal, it offers a magnificent sight on the bay. Remarkable for its fairways, its greens and the hundred-years-old numerous trees, the course represents a challenge to every handicap level. Situated at the top of a hill, the Club house, which is at the same time spacious and friendly, offer one of the most beautiful sights on the island.

Each room possesses a private bathroom, direct telephone, safety deposit, cable TV. At disposal: a big room with hi-fi system, small library, internal / outside swimming pool, garden, parking.
