Laguna National Golf & Country Club
It was designed by Pete Dye and
the players will discover two different styles of architecture.
On the 18 hole Master Course, they will find a style which reminds
the Scottish formerly courses. On the 18 hole Classic Race course,
they will find rather the American golf course style. This last
one is shorter with fewer water plans and more fairways reliefs.
But its peculiarity is in the approach of the greens which are
strategically well guarded.
Laguna National is considered as one of the first clubs
of Singapore. Since it opened it welcomed in 1997 Singapore Ladies
Golf Association Amateur Ladies Open, in 1996 the Canon Singapore
Open and in 1995 the Merlion Masters which is an Omega APGA tour
event.

Keppel Club
Founded in 1904 and designed
by Ronald Fream, the 18 hole Keppel Club course is one of the
oldest courses of Singapore. In 1996, due to a chronic lack of
carriages, this club became the first one and the only one to
settle a system of monorail car. This car, automatic, which follows
the rail all along the route, can carry up to 4 bags. Therefore,
the player has no more the merit of the exactness of his game
than the distance to go through.
The ground of the first nine holes is relatively flat, compared
to the following nine holes, which is rather bumped. If your ball
leaves in bushes or ditches, it is recommended to avoid looking
for it because snakes are frequently perceived there.
Opportunities: House club, Pro Shop, Night golf, swimming pool,
tennis, restoring bar, lessons.
Green fees: from $S105.
